I-285, colloquially known as the Perimeter, encircles the city and is often jammed at the rush hour. The Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is located on the southern edge of the city and is surrounded by the three interstates: I-285, the Atlanta Beltway, I-85, and I-75. Look for it on the map and you will have taken the first step towards knowing where things are. Where is the Georgia Dome relative to the central business district and the Georgia State University campus?
