Sometimes the best Atlantic City attractions are just a bit away from the boardwalk. While there are plenty of things to do in Atlantic City, New Jersey, while there are plenty of Atlantic City Boardwalk activities, if you are traveling to the area with children, you owe it to your whole family to spend a day in a Storybook Land.
At Storybook Land just outside of Atlantic City, your family can spend the day feeling as though you have wakened up in the middle of a fairy tale. You'll find, after a visit to Storybook Land, that your family will be able to create their own fairy tale memories.
When your family makes a visit to Storybook Land, you will be able to visit areas devoted to all of your children's favorite fairy tales. Allow your children to explore the world of Jack and the Beanstalk. They will be able to visit an area devoted to Humpty Dumpty, to Mother Goose, to Little Red Riding Hood.
Together, you will be able to explore Snow White's house, the Little Red Schoolhouse, and the Old Woman's Shoe. Whether your child's favorite nursery rhyme is Hickory Dickory Dock or Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater, you will be able to take them to an area of Storybook Land that brings that story to life.
While many of these stories are timeless and are as relevant regardless of the time of year, you will be able to enjoy Storybook Land's Easter Bunny House and Santa's Workshop seasonally, and bring these characters to life for your child.
But Storybook Land is not just about visiting the worlds of your child's favorite story characters. In addition, you will be able to let your children ride the rides. From the Whirly-Bug to the Turtle Twirl, from the Jumping Jumbos to Bubbles the Coaster, you will find that the rides are safe and well-maintained and that Storybook Land is the perfect first amusement park for even your youngest children.
After the excitement of the storybook areas and the amusement rides, you might find that you can your family have worked up an appetite. Rather than heading back to the Atlantic City boardwalk, you will be able to enjoy one of the many dining areas at Storybook Land.
You'll be able to visit the Gingerbread House Snack Bar or the Caboose Cafe. Or visit the Dining Depot and grab a bite to eat there. No matter where you choose to stop and eat at Storybook Land, you are sure to find something that everyone - even your family's pickiest eaters - will love.
Your family is sure to enjoy a day at Storybook Land and the memories will last forever. But if there is something more that you need to keep the memories fresh in your mind, you will be able to make a visit to the Castle Gift Shop where everyone is sure to find something to take back from the trip with them.
Why not bring back more from your family trip to New Jersey? Take a break from the Atlantic City boardwalk activities and attractions and enjoy a day at Storybook Land.
