Big Bear Lake Attractions |
| Big Bear attractions don't all begin and end with the lake in the summer months and the mountain in the winter. These are the primary attractions, of course, but
there's more to do here. Family fun can be had, for instance, at the Magic Mountain Recreation Area, and kids will love the Moonridge Zoo with 80 different animal species. In July and August,
on Saturdays, the Big Bear Solar Observatory is open. In the San Bernardino National Forest there's hiking, horseback riding, sightseeing, fishing, hunting, and other activities. Some of these
things you can do on your own, but others require a guide. Whatever your interests, you'll find the information on this page helpful when deciding how to split your time between the many Big Bear attractions.
