Denver Map |
| A Denver map is included on this page to help you see where various landmarks are in relationship to one another. The airport, for example, is about 23 miles, by car, not as the crow flies, to the northeast of downtown Denver. Lower Downtown, or LoDo, is actually to the northwest of the center of the downtown area – towards, and bordered by, the South Platte River. Roughly speaking, downtown Denver is to the east of the South Platte and to the north of Cherry Creek which runs, again roughly, parallel to Speer Blvd., and past the Pepsi Center. The U.S. Mint, Colorado Convention Center, and Performing Arts Complex are all a block or two off the right bank of Cherry Creek, while the University of Colorado Denver is south, or on the left bank, of the creek. Your ability to navigate around town should be enhanced by familiarity with this map of Denver. |
