      Faridabad, a district of Haryana, is a fast emerging place in the Delhi NCR (National Capital Region). The IT and BPO boom in India, gave this small district ample opportunity to make a global identity for itself. It is surrounded by the Union Territory and National Capital of Delhi from north, Gurgaon District from the west and the state of Utter Pradesh from east and south. Shaikh Farid, treasurer of Jahangir founded Faridabad in A.D. 1607, with the object of protecting the highway, which passed through the town.

Badkhal Lake tourist complex, Suraj Kund Tourist Complex, Arravali Golf Club, Raja Nahar Singh Palace and Dabchick are the famous tourist spots.

How to reach:

  • By Air: Faridabad can be easily reached by air as it is quite near to the domestic airport in Palam and the Indira Gandhi International airport.
  • By Rail: Faridabad has a railway station on the Delhi-Mathura double track broad-gauge line of the Central Railway.
  • By Road: Faridabad is well connected by road to Delhi and thus in turn is connected to the rest of the country.
