Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan, is a city of thousands colours. Also known as “Pink City”, the name Jaipur of the city is derived from the name of its founder, great warrior astronomer Maharaja Jai Singh II. How to reach:
- By Air: The city is directly connected to Delhi, Bombay, Jodhpur, Udaipur, and Ahmedabad through regular flights. All major domestic airlines have their services to Jaipur.
- By Rail: Jaipur is well connected by trains. The Pink City Express leaves Delhi at 6 am and reaches Jaipur at 11 am. For leisure travelers, Palace-on-Wheels is a best option, which leaves Delhi every Saturday.
- By Road: There are also good bus services from Delhi and other important north Indian cities to Jaipur. Private vehicle can also be arranbed as per convenience.
