Las Vegas, NV 89101
Hotels such as the Mirage, Caesras Palace, Bellagio and the Venetian may get all the headlines on the Strip the Golden Nugget has become known as the glittering jewel of the downtown area. For over 50 years the hotel has been attracting visitors to Fremont Street.
As with many hotels in Vegas one of the most popular areas is the pool. With its lush, tropical landscaping and Bronze and marble statues, its easy to see why people flock to the pool all year long.
If lounging poolside and soaking up the rays isn't your idea of a good time then perhaps you would feel more at home on the casino floor. In addition to usual assortment of video poker, slot machines and table games, the casino has a couple of new features. The High Limit Slot Salon is where you go when you get tired of nickel and diming it and are looking to really make it big as it features machines ranging from $25-500. For those that are looking to take a breather from the gambling frenzy, the VIP Lounge is waiting for you.
When it comes to food you have a world of options. Of course there is the obligatory buffet which is perfect for those that aren't really sure what they are hungry for. Lilie's Noodle house is great for those that are seeking a taste of the Orient and Vic & Anthony's Steakhouse offers up some of the finest cuts of beef in a casual yet elegant atmosphere.
With so much to see and do and with a staff that is always on hand to answer any question you may have, it's easy to see why the Golden Nugget continue to be a favorite among travelers.
