Hours of operation: Monday and Thursday, noon - 6 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. - midnight. Saturday, 10 a.m. - midnight. Sunday, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. Closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
Cost: $5, or included in a wristband, which is $30 for a full day or $22 for a half. Half-day passes are available only Monday-Thursday, 3 p.m.-6 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 5 p.m.-12 a.m., and Sunday, 3 p.m.-7 p.m. Also available are Little Wrangler passes at $12 for children 48 inches tall and under.
At first glance the Adventure Canyon seems like your typical run of the mill log ride, but after experiencing the ride first hand you will agree that with a 35 foot drop there is nothing typical about this ride. The ride begins with patrons climbing into log rides and handed "pistols". Riders are warned that this is the old west and in the old west you need to keep your eyes open and have a quick trigger finger for any targets. Riders are then set off on their own adventure. As they drift by the old western scenes of miners, outlaws and desperados. Targets are carefully located along the way for riders to practice their shooting skills as they can rack up some serious points by hitting the targets, just don't be surprised if some of the targets shoot back. At the end of the ride, riders get one last chance to show who the best shot is as they towel off.
For those that love the energy and thrill of a water ride or those that just want the chance show off some of your fancy pistol handling skills, Adventure Canyon is just what you are looking for.
