From toddlers to senior citizens audiences have been flocking to see some of the most awe-inspiring and dearth defying magic tricks on the Strip. No, we aren't talking about David Copperfield we are talking about Steve Wyrick's show at the Aladdin.

 

Perhaps there is no trick on the Strip that is as imposing as Wyrick's "Blades of Death." Wyrick has managed to baffle and amaze audiences as he is able to walk through the blades of a 747 turbine fan and then dazzles audiences as he is able to escape from shackles just seconds before an industrial strength saw comes crashing down.

 

While it is these type of ticks that grab all the attention it is the smaller, more intimate tricks that have the audiences coming back for more on a nightly basis. One Wyrick's best acts is one that has taken him the longest to fine tune. In "Sam the Bellhop" Wyrick invites two audience members to join him onstage as he tells a story through the use of card tricks.

 

While Wyrick still shows the showmanship and flair that helped earn him a two time title of Magician of the Year by the International Magician's Society it is easy to see that his show has become more about substance than style.
