The Art of Shaving

Women can go to spas and salons when they feel like they need a little pampering. But where do men go when they want to indulge in a little pampering? Some men may feel comfortable going to a salon and spa while others feel that is a little bit too feminine. If that is the case then you may want to try hitting The Art of Shaving. No only will you find yourself feeling spoiled and pampered, you will also come away with one of the best shaves of your life.
Sitting inside Mandalay Bay The Art of Shaving shows that there is much more to getting a good shave than just pressing a piece of cold steel to your face. The 45 minutes shave sessions have proven to be an exhibition of pure art.
Start you shave by reclining in a plush leather chair while a hot towel is pressed against your skin and is used to open up your pores. From there your barber uses a special oil that is designed to protect your skin while still softening those whiskers to make sure you get the closest shave possible. Next up is the shaving cream. Of course this stuff is just globbed on. The barber uses an authentic badger hair brush to make sure that the cream is even. He then takes a double razor and runs it along the grain of your face leaving your skin baby skin smooth. From there a skin mask is applied to help cool your skin and avoid some of that razor burn. Once the mask is removed your face is treated to a mix of rose water and aftershave which will leave you skin soft, smooth and smelling good.
Just one trip and you will never be able to look at your Schick razor the same way again.
