| Assume Maui weather will be sunny and warm. You'll be right most of the time. Not good enough? Well it is true that Maui has some variation in its weather. The most obvious and well known weather pattern is rain on the north and east sides of the island. This accounts for the luxuriant tropical rainforest covering most of these areas. Overall, Maui is warm and dry with temperatures in the high 80s, in the summer time. In the winter Maui can be wet and windy, but still with average temperatures in the low 80s most of the time.
