Orlando Theme Parks

Much of Orlando's allure revolves around theme parks and attractions. Couples, friends, families, and even the lone traveler, journey from around the globe to experience the unique and enthralling delights of Orlando, Florida. Aside from Disney World some of the most popular attractions include SeaWorld, Discovery Cove and Busch Gardens, yet these are only a few activities that draw millions of visitors to Orlando each year.

SeaWorld

Spend a day at SeaWorld and meet some of the ocean's most intriguing and entertaining sea life. It isn't everyday you get to stare eye-to-eye with a hammerhead shark, see beluga whales glide through the ice water, watch dolphins spin tricks in the air, or pet a stingray. Popular attractions include: The Sea Lion and Otter Show, starring the playful Clyde and Seamore; the Penguin Encounter, abound with waddling and diving penguins; Key West Dolphin Fest, an amusing and interactive dolphin show; Journey to Atlantis, a mighty wet rollercoaster ride; the Wild Arctic, a frigid environment for polar bears and whales; and the world renowned Shamu Adventure show! (Hot Tip: You may want to look into the Orlando Flex Ticket, which allows you access to Universal Studios Escape, Wet'n'Wild water park and Busch Gardens for a one time fee.)

Discovery Cove

SeaWorld's elite counterpart, Discovery Cove, offers a unique aquatic experience. If you're looking to escape the intensity of a major theme park and enjoy a more exclusive adventure, then this is the place. By admitting only 1,000 visitors per day, this version of SeaWorld provides a more interactive journey - free of crowds.

An all day pass allows you to frolic with dolphins, snorkel through the brightly colored reef, hand feed exotic birds, bask in the serenity of the lagoon and cool down under a soothing waterfall. Featured attractions include: the Coral Reef, flowing with tropical fish; Ray Lagoon, looming with harmless stingrays to pet; Dolphin Swim, a chance to get acquainted with the dolphins and even have your picture taken; the Resort Pool, for lounging and swimming; and Tropical River, filled with waterfalls and rare birds.

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay

Since the 1960's, Busch Gardens of Tampa Bay has rehabilitated animals from all over the globe, and provided them with an open-spaced sanctuary to recover. Today it is still recognized for its environmental and humanitarian contributions, but has become an extraordinary adventure for vacationers with its assortment of shows, rides and animal attractions. Shekira, one of the parks newest additions, is a thrilling rollercoaster ride that thunders down the track at speeds of 70 mph in a combination of loops and turns.
