Searching to escape the heat? On a humid day in Orlando, a trip to the water parks can be quite refreshing. Each water park caters to people of all ages, so don't be afraid to bring the little ones because there's something for them too. So have fun, get soaked and cool down at one of Orlando's many water parks.
Blizzard Beach
Guess what? Unseasonably warm weather at the Blizzard Beach ski resort has melted the snow and you get to slide down all the water-soaked trails! Zoom down the 120 foot drop of the Summit Plummet. Race a buddy through the Downhill Double Dipper. Drift down Cross Country Creek in a novelty tube. Take the tots over to Tike's Peak, to play with the mini-slides and spurting fountains. Hop in a raft at Teamboat Springs with the rest of the family and ride the rapids down the mountain.
Typhoon Lagoon
Have you heard? A gargantuan wave from a recent storm has left a ship marooned atop a mountain. Discover Typhoon Lagoon and see what happened. Exciting adventures include: Humunga Kowabunga, zip down the mountain on a gargantuan water slide; Castaway Creek, gently ride the currents around the entire lagoon; Mayday Falls, curl and twirl down the mountain in an inner tube; and Ketchakiddee Creek, a place for the youngsters to swim and splash it up.
