| Any enumeration of Reno attractions must begin with the casinos. The majority of visitors to the city come for the gambling, entertainment, gourmet eateries, and general excitement embodied in the local casinos. Skiing in the winter and golf in the summer might also be considered major draws. There are other attractions however. Both the soaring mountains and the high desert have a multitude of flora and fauna. There is the Reno Philharmonic Orchestra, The Reno Chamber Orchestra, opera, live theater groups. Along the Truckee River in downtown there is a lively Arts District. A day trip to experience the beauty of Lake Tahoe is a fun experience. And don't forget to stop by the National Bowling Stadium with its popular atrium sculpture and 78 bowling lanes. Certainly, there's plenty to do in the way of Reno attractions. |
