With a sky bridge that connects it to Petco Park, the Omni San Diego Hotel is like a dream come true for Padre and baseball fans alike. 
Doe to its closeness to the park you can be sure that baseball has a certain influence on the hotel itself. The Omni San Diego proudly displays a collection of baseball memorabilia unlike any other. Items include the 1932 contract of Babe Ruth, an authentic Negro League jersey and a pair of cleats that Joltin Joe DiMaggio wore during his march to 56 straight games with a hit.
In addition to its proximity to Petco, the Omni San Diego is well within walking distance of the Gaslamp District, the Convention Center as well as nightclubs, gourmet restaurants and the city's trolley line.
Located in a sleek and stylish 32 story tower, each of the 511 guestrooms are contained on floors 5-21 as the rest of the floor are reserved as private condos. Each room feature double pillow top mattresses which are so soft you will swear you were sleeping on a cloud. Other rooms features include flat screen TV's, CD/DVD players, minibars, high-speed Internet access, WebTV, electronic safes, complimentary newspapers and windows that offer up panoramic views of the city skyline and marina.
Hotel amenities are almost as luxurious as the rooms. The hotel features a state of the art fitness center which comes with some of the best cardio and weight training equipment around. The sixth floor of the hotel is perfect for those that are seeking a little isolation time to just relax and recharge. The area features a heated pool, spa, fountain, stone fireplace and a bar with plasma TV's.
