Located in the heart of Mission Valley and surrounded by palm trees, exotic plants and flowers as well as cascading waterfalls, the Red Lion Hanalei Hotel is ideal for those that are looking to explore all that San Diego has to offer.
The island theme runs throughout the hotel as the Islands Sushi & Pupu Bar specializes in hand rolled sushi and a variety of Hawaiian appetizers as well as numerous tropical drinks. The Islands Restaurant offers up a variety of Pacific Rim dishes as well as featuring a variety of Hawaiian artifacts. The Peacock cafè may not feature some exotic dishes, but it does serve up some of the best California cuisine around and offers views of the lush tropical pool area.
The tropical feel carries over to the guestrooms as each of the 416 rooms have a distinct Polynesian flavor. Aside from the island dècor each room comes with a cable TV, high-speed Internet access, coffee maker and patio or balcony.
