San Francisco is a bustling metropolis during the day and a city of fervor and festivity throughout the night. From its rolling hills and winding streets, to Fisherman’s Wharf and the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco is home to sophistication, elegance and relaxation. There is no place in California quite like it.
Of the many restaurants in San Francisco, the Vignette Restaurant brings that sophistication, elegance and relaxation together to make the perfect destination for those first dates, business meetings or just an all-around great experience with family and friends. What you’ll receive at the Vignette Restaurant is nothing less than a shower of hospitality, gourmet dining, fine wines and warm, soothing whole-leaf teas.
Located downtown in the heart of Union Square (inside the Orchard Hotel), the Vignette Restaurant provides its customers all the charisma a restaurant in San Francisco has to offer. A marble entrance draws you into the carpeted dining area where the round, cherry tables are adorned with white linens and accented with Rosenthal china, Athena pattern silverware, orchid bouquet centerpieces and votive candles.
Executive chef and co-owner Jason Yeafoli, along with his “Chef de Cuisine” Jose Rodriguez create amazing American dishes with a touch of Italian and French influence. These culinary works of art are prepared and presented with passion and precision. They are both delicious and satisfying and are balanced nicely by your choice of cocktail, wine or tea.
All of the wines offered at Vignette Restaurant are presented in the middle of the dining area in a glassed-in wine room. They are available by the glass, half-bottle and full bottle. Personal wines are welcome, but a corkage fee will apply. The tea menu is comprised of over twenty varieties of whole-leaf teas from around the world. The main menu offers dishes of meats, pasta, seafood, salads and soups, all of which will delight the senses.
