| Taos entertainment is as varied as the visitors to this vacation wonderland. In summer the Taos art and performing art scenes are major draws and in winter it's the skiing. For winter family entertainment, Taos Ski Valley is an alpine village 20 miles northeast of Taos with something for everyone. Snowboards aren't allowed there, but other resorts welcome them and there's plenty of cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and tubing. Outdoor summer activities include whitewater rafting, hiking, biking, and horseback riding. There's fishing, hunting, and the ultimate physical challenge: golf. Hey, that's all fine and good, but what about nightlife? Want to have a drink and listen to some live music? Try the Adobe Bar or Alley Cantina. The Sagebrush Inn does country. Blues and Jazz are found at Momentitos de la Vida. Clearly, there's plenty of entertainment in Taos, New Mexico. |
