| This Taos map is specifically designed to allow you to thoroughly acquaint yourself with the streets of the town itself as well as learning where the nearby pueblos, ski resorts, and other attractions are located. Try zooming all the way in on the city map. You'll notice that Kit Carson Road and Paseo Del Pueblo Sur (Highway 68) intersect near the middle of your screen. The majority of hotels and motels are located on Paseo Del Pueblo Norte and Sur. Just north of Kit Carson Road is the Taos Pueblo Indian Reservation and Kit Carson State Park. The short streets of S. Plaza and E. Plaza define two sides of the Taos Plaza. Zooming out a bit you'll see Taos Ski Valley in the upper part of the screen. Continuing to zoom out you will eventually see the Enchanted Circle with the Rio Grande Gorge State Park, Red River, Eagle Nest, and Angel Fire along the route.
